Antietam Partner contributions made
possible the purchase of land and houses
from two private sellers. The houses -- one
of which borders the entrance to Antietam --
will eventually be removed to further restore
the landscape as viewed on the Battle's eve.

Mumma Farm Education Center at Antietam
Antietam National Battlefield is one of the only
National Parks with a dedicated education
center & programs created in collaboration with
local public schools. In the past year, Antietam
Partner support helped deliver 270 programs to
more than 13,000 students.

The goal at Antietam National Battlefield is restoration of the historic landscape. One major part of that effort is the reconstruction of historic fence lines on the Battlefield. The generous support of Antietam Partners funded the building of additional rail fencing this year.
